Reflective Observation
Reflection on my knowledge in MIS500 using a four-step process to gain insight into the work I have done and how it relate to my own profession and life more broadly. My experience in MIS500 this trimester involved learning about the opening concepts of information systems, including the role of technology in organizations, the significance of data management and safety and the ethical and specialized standards that guide behavior in the field. I complete a range of assignments, including readings, case studies, and assessments, and participate in online deliberations with my classmates. Through my knowledge I gained a deeper understanding of the vital role that information systems play in today's organizations and society more generally. I learned about the potential benefits and risks of technology, including issues connected to privacy, security, and admittance, and gained insights into the complex ethical considerations that must be taken into account when working with data and technology. I also developed my analytical and problem-solving skills through the coursework and case studies, which allowed me to apply academic concepts to real-world situations and develop strategies for addressing organizational challenges.
I found my knowledge to be extremely valuable and applicable to my future career aspirations. The knowledge and skills I gain in this course will be transferable to many other fields and industries, as technology continues to play an increasingly important role in every aspect of our lives. Weekly Journal:
Week 1: This week, I learned about the significance of information systems in organizations and society. I was mainly interested in the role of technology in improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency, and how data can be used to drive decision-making using Agile practice to work with self organized team. I also enjoyed the online conversation with my classmates, where we shared our experience with technology in the workplace.
Week 2: This week, I focused on data management and safety. I learned about the diverse types of data and how they can be analyzed to increase insights into managerial performance as cited by McGunagle and Zizka, (2020). I also gained a deeper understanding of the risks and challenges associated with data security, including the importance of protecting sensitive information and complying with regulations for Information Systems in a business context.
Week 3: in this week I have explored ethical and professional issues in information systems. I found the conversation on social and environmental accountability particularly thought-provoking, as it highlighted the requirement for organizations to believe the broader impacts of their technology and data practices. I also respected the case study that challenged us to believe different perspectives and values in making moral decisions.
Week 4: This week, I wrap up the course with an appraisal of key concepts and a final assessment. I feel that I have gain a solid foundation in information systems and its significance in today's organizations. I am energized to apply this knowledge to my future studies and career.

By prioritizing the protection of responsive information and comply with regulations and best practices, we can help to make sure that our expertise use is accountable and ethical.
