The interview aimed to know the changes that a person faces in middle age and understand the impacts on their lifespan. The life events they face and the memories they keep throughout their childhood and adulthood. According to Dahlke et al. (2020), the interview will also help others to understand the problems that the person faces during their lifetime. The environment they grew up in, the surroundings the person had during their childhood and the difference they face once they grow up. The interview also helps to understand the hobbies the person had, their fulfillment of desires, happiness, and sadness. The interview may also give an idea of the pain that the person feels when they fail to follow their passion and hobby in their career field.
The person may also share his feelings and the attachment he felt with the people and the pets and some things. Whereas sometimes they had to goodbye to the people they love the most, and this experience of him teaches individual that letting go the things and person are better option sometimes. Participation
An interview will be taken with a middle-aged person who will share his experience in both childhood and adulthood. As there are many questions to know about him and his stages in life the interview is likely to take around 3 hours.
The interview will be recorded in an audio format where the person will share his experience. The audio will also record the emotions that he will express while remembering past experiences. There can also be a video recording in order to understand his emotion through the expressions that he will use during the interview (World Health Organization, 2022). Notes will also be taken during the interview, about the solutions and the suggestions that he will share so that they can help our lives. As volunteer taking notes about the problems and solutions for life is important in order to help other people who are facing the same problems in life. The video can also help many people around and motivate others and increases positivity in life.
Risks of interview
Discomfort - The person may feel discomfort while sharing his personal things, as many people prefer to keep their life private and feel uncomfortable while sharing their problems in life (Tursunovich, 2022). Effective communication may help the person to feel comfortable and skipping the questions that are too private to answer can help to overcome the problems of discomfort.
Psychological- People may feel nervous as there will be recordings and may become uncomfortable while speaking in front of many people. In order to overcome the psychological problems the interviewer may add some storytelling questions in between to ease the mind of the person. Drinking water before the interview and breathing exercises for a few minutes may help the person to ease the mind and reduce nervousness and psychological problems.
Economic- The person may also face some financial problems while coming for the interview, as the person needs money to travel and come for the interview. In this case, helping the person with some money to travel is necessary. Understanding the financial background and the problems in their life is also necessary.
Memories- Some people may have bad memories in their life due to some bad experience. For example, the person may feel bad in a situation where he had many good memories with their grandparents but suddenly they died as they aged person. Answering questions related to their grandparents may make him feel bad, as there will be many memories flashing in his head. He may feel uncomfortable sharing these situations and thus he will need some privacy.
The privacy of the person can be maintained by avoiding asking for the s of the person's family members. Understating the family background and the problems that the person does not want to share is important (Lehmann et al. 2020). The person is also free to decide the answer to problems and solutions that he wants to share in the interview.
