The outbreak of the “Covid 19 pandemic” has progressed rapidly in the Global World and it has started since 2020. Exponential maximisation of the effect of the Covid 19 cases and the rate of deaths is continuing for being reported in the global world. This kind of pandemic has been observed in China and it is addressed as Viral Pneumonia which is identified in China initially. The outbreak of the Covid 19 has led all individuals as well as animals to be suffered from this transmissible disease. The thesis statement of this essay is to explore the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on health. It has also measured the effectiveness of the response of Global Public Health to the outbreak of the “Covid 19 pandemic”.

Discussion

Disease Origin

“SARS-COV-2” has been considered as a responsible factor to lead the 2020 pandemic or the “Covid 19 pandemic” in the year of 2020. Along with that, it is one of the major human transmissible viruses. According to the statement of Boyle et al. (2020), it has been observed that the outbreak of the Covid 19 has led all individuals as well as animals to be suffered from this transmissible disease. Urbanisation, cleaning forests, and increasing population are leading the 2020 pandemic and those are considered as major driving forces affecting the lives of animals or wild lives. Subsequently falling out the spread of the “Covid 19 pandemic” has impacted both the habitats and populations of wild animals by different pathways. As opined by Calisher et al. (2020), the outbreak of the Covid 19 is bringing several kinds of obstacles and issues which are directly associated with basic sanitation. Since it is not only a global crisis but also a social crisis which is affecting the lives of individuals in the vulnerable situations hence, the government has implemented several kinds of programmes. Based on the recommendations of the “World Health Organisation” hand washing is a major activity to avoid the future pandemic. Unfortunately, it is a fundamental and crucial measure for preventing the spread of this pandemic and it is inaccessible to around “180 million individuals” in the global world who are not able to access proper sanitation.

Global Public Health Response

The outbreak of the “Covid 19 Pandemic” is a “Public Health Emergency of International Concern” and it has been determined by the “Emergency Committee on Covid 19”. As per the words of Leung et al. (2020), it has been observed that the government of different countries is taking several kinds of responsibilities in terms of reducing and combating the negative consequences of the “Covid 19 pandemic”. On that note, the UK government has taken several kinds of initiatives to combat the covid pandemic. The UK government has provided around “750 million dollars” to the citizens to overcome the negative consequences of the Covid 19 (Publishing, 2023). On the other hand, as opined by Shakespeare et al. (2021), the Indian Government of Australia has announced lockdown and self-isolation in terms of maintaining social distancing at the time of Covid 19 pandemic. Moreover, throughout the 2020 march, different shutdowns and the business closures have been initiated and in the end of this month, the Australian government has ordered to maintain lockdown.

Evidence of new and emerging technologies

The government of the United Kingdom has initiated the first vaccine for reducing the negative impacts of the Covid 19 outbreak among individuals. In the year of 2021, the UK government aids to implement covid 19 vaccines, and in the year of 2022, the Novax vaccine has been implemented in reducing the rate of covid cases in the UK (Gov, 2023). On the other hand, other countries’ government has taken several kinds of initiatives which are effective and beneficial for improving the health status of individuals and they are able to combat the outbreak of the Covid 19. Based on several reports, it has been observed that the implementation of Covidshield and Covaxin is helping to fight or combat against a pernicious attack of the Covid virus (Jebril, 2020). Moreover, it is decreasing the burden on the healthcare systems and treatment. Different types of advanced technologies such as mobile applications, telehealth, artificial intelligence, and machine learning have been implemented in terms of providing treatment and care to patients by maintaining social distancing and lockdowns in Australia (Health, 2023). Hence, it is helpful or all Australians to survive at that time by maintaining lockdown and isolation and able to take treatment and medication.

Public health misinformation and communication

During the pandemic, in terms of using online media, several kinds of false news and information have been leaked and those are affecting the lifestyle of all individuals. It is also becoming strongly evident that using mobiles, social media, and the internet is contributing to misleading and disseminated information. Hence, it is perpetuated beliefs which are leading to mask refusal, avoiding medication and vaccines at the proper time (Pak et al. 2020). As a result, it is increasing the rate of deaths and rapidly spreading this disease over the world. As depicted by Scally et al. (2020), misinformation is becoming an issue and burden for all individual's health, governments, and public health in the global world. Hence, the governments of all countries are implementing several kinds of awareness programs, distributing funds, and implementing technologies to reach to their citizens and provide proper information to lead a normal and healthy lifestyle at that time.

Conclusion

The entire study has summarised that the implementation of several kidneys of vaccines and taking initiatives are effective in terms of reducing the negative impacts of the outbreak of the “Covid 19 pandemic”. In addition, after discussing the origin of Covid 19, it has been observed that this disease is affecting both individuals and wildlife lifestyles. It is also increasing the rate of death as well as affecting. The government in different countries has announced that the “Covid 19 pandemic” is the “Public Health Emergency” at an International Concern. Based on the different responses to the “Covid 19 pandemic”, it has been observed that in the USA the rate of covid spread is high which is increasing the rate of death cases. Thus, the government of that country has taken some initiatives to reduce the rate. This kind of pandemic has been observed in China and it is addressed as Viral Pneumonia which is identified in China initially. Hence, it can be concluded that taking the initiative and providing supports in reducing the impact of the “Covid 19 pandemic” outbreak and improving lifestyle.
